Nicko McBrain due in court on assault charge

MTV News reported that Iron Maiden drummer Michael "Nicko" McBrain was due to appear in Hempstead District Court in New York on 7 November 2003 to face a third-degree assault charge.

The case concerned an incident before an Iron Maiden show the previous July. McBrain was accused of deliberately driving his car into a parking-lot attendant.
