Extra Tickets made available for summer Twickenham Concert

Posted Monday 10th March 2008

After a huge response by fans at the launch of tickets for Maiden's first visit to a stadium in the UK at the rugby ground Twickenham on the 5th of July, the band have made it possible for many more to enjoy the experience by releasing another batch of standing tickets (those which were most in demand) to the market through promoter Live Nation.

Rod 'Sheriff' Smallwood, their long-time manager, made the announcement with this statement: "We know many of our fans love to be standing in front of the stage so we are very pleased that we have been able to secure these extra standing tickets. This will be a memorable show and will be our only one in the UK for at least two years so we intend to make it very special."

With Avenged Sevenfold and Within Temptation as the support acts for the concert and prices kept to the lowest possible levels due to the high amount available, this will certainly be one of the most popular gigs of the summer and all of you Maiden fans will be able to get your hands on them on Wednesday the 12th of March (9am on the dot if you want to ensure that you get your place) if you are signed up to the fanclub. The rest of the public will get their chance to purchase them at 9am on Friday the 14th of March.
